Our Story
In the early months of 2024, I was gifted an adorable stuffed animal. What stuck out to though, was the branding. The plush was modeled after a panther, an endangered species, and the name and tag both seemed eager to display this.
As a student headed into college to study wildlife conservation, I was excited to see that a large toy company cared about endangered species.
However, this excitement did not last long.
As I looked closer into the company and this line of toys, I saw no mention of any intention to give back to the endangered species they were profiting off of. It was just another strategy to sell toys.
This realization ignited an idea in me. There should be a way for the animals we love, the ones being used to sell so many products, to benefit from it.
So, that summer I started L.L. Plush. I partnered with Bears for Humanity to ethically produce our first plush, Ember, with sustainable and organic materials. Now, over a year later Ember is here and giving back 30% of sales to elephant conservation worldwide.
